This is a great miniature, unfortunately I just couldn't find a good angle to snap an image.  It's been in the pile for a long time so I'm glad it's finally finished.

Let there be light

The long lost Lantern Bearer has returned to the fold from Grenadier's Action Art set.  Tried a slight bit of source lighting with him though after the fire beetles I kept it to a minimum.  I probably should man up and paint a figure with an obnoxious light source to get over it.

This the second go at painting this mini.  The first paint job I used black primer and the gray looked terrible.  Stripped and primed white with a much better result.  It's painted up like the illustration in the 3e MM.

These guys didn’t turn out as well as I’d hoped for no specific reason I can point to.  The sculpts are great; I believe they are meant to look like commoners.  They still make a great addition.  These minis are from the 2^nd Labyrinth Lord boxed set.
