Otherworld Orcs and the Tome of Horrors Kickstarter

I am a 200$ backer for Center Stage’s Kickstarter, “The Tome of Horrors Complete.”  I have been trying to match miniatures with the TOH creatures for years (see my post from March 2013: http://verminfield.blogspot.com/2013/03/ll-boxed-set-2.html ) so this project was right up my alley.  I have been going through virtually every miniature companies line to do so.

Here’s the link though it’s well past the closing date:

So, since I have dropped so much scratch on miniatures that are not estimated for shipping until December, I am forcing myself to not make any mini purchases, unless it is a good deal for some old miniature that I have been shopping for years.

This should allow me to make a goodly dent into my lead pile.   I think the mini painter has the same “roving eye” problem that most DM’s do; you see something shiny and new and get urges to paint it or to play it.  I think I will enjoy rifling through my old lead pile with an exclusive eye on playing catch up.

The TOH will create quit a lead pile of its own once it’s shipped!

With that in mind, here are the LL Boxed set orcs that I mentioned in a previous post that I was probably not going to paint do to my 3e orc surplus – both metal and plastic.  Now that it’s done I am glad as I have a full boxed set painted.
